T
he Tigers Experience!

Perform the Tigers’ Rap and eat a Tigers meal…show off your football skills to Coach Bogere whilst wearing flip-flops…have a health and hygiene lesson from Nurse Juliana…learn to say 1-10 in Luganda at the Learning Centre…
Can you show enough commitment to become a START boy?

The Tigers Experience is an interactive activity, with music and powerpoint presentations, designed to give young people (and adults!) an understanding of what happens at the Tigers Clubhouse. It takes five aspects of the work in Kampala: football, education, medical, counselling and feeding. Posters provide young people with information about each aspect of the work, to complete questions on their quiz sheet and in each area they are given a “Tigers challenge” to gain a deeper understanding of what life is like for the real Tigers boys. If they complete all the activities at the “clubhouse” successfully, they then qualify to become a START boy (Specially Targeted and Resourced Tiger)!

Age range: 7-adult!
Running Time: approximately 1 hour

CDs containing all the necessary Tigers Experience materials (stickers, posters, quiz sheets, powerpoint presentations) for you to print out yourself are free, or you can order a fully printed and laminated version of the posters for £10.
