This is it! They are approaching the summit -- only one day to go.
Our Kili bunch will be attempting to reach the summit on Friday 30 July 2004. Let's give them that extra push by covering them with super- intensive prayer!
The team will be departing between midnight and 1am Tanzanian time and will be aiming to reach the summit by 6.30 am Tanzanian time for a sunrise over Africa!!
If we have worked this out correctly -- and three cheers to Emma Broadhurst for working this all out and for her thoughts on all of this --this means they will be summiting between
8 pm and 3.30 am UK time
9 pm to 4.30 am European time
4 pm-11.30 pm far West Coast of US/Canada time
12 noon-7.30 pm for far East Coast of US/Canada
This means we can pretty much cover them in prayer all the time,so
Brits and Europeans--can you help us cover the early shift (the first 3-4 hours )
Americans and Canadians--could you do the late shift--last 3-4 hours??
Thank you. I am sure that will the late night and early alarm clocks will hurt, remember -- IT IS SO MUCH HARDER FOR THEM, so let's get praying -- and THREE BIG CHEERS FOR THE FINAL COUNTDOWN!!!!
With love and prayers for you all
Nicky
