Calling all schools, youth groups and young people...

The Tigers Club START
Challenge 2005

The Tigers Club Challenge encourages young people, either individually or in pairs, set up their own business. Like the Tigers Club Boys on the START Programme, they have to come up with an idea for their business which could be cards, decorations, cakes, sweets or presents, for example. Once they have decided on their idea they must find a ‘sponsor’ (a friend or relative), who, upon hearing their idea, will be prepared to loan them the £5 set-up costs. With this money they can then buy the materials which they will use to make the first few items which they can sell, for example at school or at church. All profits they make goes directly to Tigers.
